Material: 15% Polyester / 85% Polynosic (= A modified rayon fiber that has a high wet modulus and a low degree of swelling. Polynosic fibers are made by a process developed by S.Tachikawa in Japan in 1951. They are a type of modal rayon that has a high degree of polymerization (55%: compared to 40% for ordinary rayon and 70-80% for Cotton). Polynosic fibers are dimensionally stable and do not shrink or get pulled out of shape when wet like many rayons. They are also wear resistant and strong while maintaining a soft, silky feel. )
